This Cookie Policy explains how Delayo. (operated by DEA Bookkeeping and Payroll Services (Sole Trader)) uses cookies and similar local storage technologies on delayo.uk, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. We also use similar browser storage (such as localStorage) for the same purposes described below.
2. The cookie categories we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They include your cookie-consent preference itself (so we don't ask you again every visit) and, where applicable, security/rate-limiting mechanisms that protect the Service from abuse. Strictly necessary storage does not require consent under UK PECR/GDPR.
Optional / analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use delayo.uk (for example, which pages are viewed and how the site is found), so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies are never set unless you consent: the underlying script is only loaded into the page after you choose "Accept All" or switch Analytics on in Cookie Settings. If you choose "Reject Non-Essential", or leave the Analytics toggle off, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings. Data collected is processed by Google in line with their own privacy policy; see Google's Privacy & Terms for details.
Third-party cookies (outside our control)
When you proceed to pay the £2.00 processing fee, you are redirected to Stripe Checkout, a page hosted by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies there under its own cookie/privacy policy, which is separate from this one. We do not control those cookies.
3. How to control your preferences
You can choose "Accept All", "Reject Non-Essential" or open "Cookie Settings" from the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
